The Situation of a Mystics according Hildegard of Bingen - Searching for her Starting Position as Scivitas Autor

- The situation of mystic according to Hildegarda of Bingen The Bachelor work is focused on the visionary book Scivias written by Hildegard of Bingen. This famous lady, teacher, preacher, prophet, abbesses and healer was born in 1098 in Germany and died after her shining career in 1179. Bachelor work deals mainly with Hildegard's mystic books and attempts to define Hildegard's attitude to her own mystical work. In her visions, she describes different heavenly images and she also tries to explain them, often in many different ways. In the introduction to her book Scivias, we can find seven points that can helps us understand her attitude. These seven points are also present in her letter to Bernard of Clairvaux. The Points include: fragility, heaven flame, understanding of books (mainly the Bible), mystery, vigilance, relation with some other people and simplicity. The text of the work is divided into chapters and in each chapter author attempts to characterize one of these points. It mentions the question of Hildegard's mental health, the social position of women in medieval times or the fact of imagination. A schema is stated at the end. This schema attempts to characterized relations between different points, which were described as above.

The Mystical path of St. Teresa of Jesus: reflection in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present

Saint Teresa of Jesus, the Spanish mystic of 16th century and the Carmelite order reformer presents the doctrine of internal prayer and all its stages in her works based on own personal experience of life with the God. The intention of this work is to analyze Teresa's mystical path as a process of spiritual life with various stages of transformation. It will deal with what it means to be united with the God for the human life in Teresa's conception. It will also submit how Teresa's doctrine of mystical path has been reflected in the Czech environment since 1900 to the present, respectively by Czech authors and by foreign authors of whose works were translated into the Czech language. The work will be based on the concrete text of Interior Castle, in which Teresa represents the soul with number of dwelling places. The structure will be defined by single dwelling places, which are considered the ascetic and mystical stages of the prayer. The work itself, the Interior Castle, will be introduced together with the first to third ascetic dwelling places which had been the subject of previous bachelor's work. Golem figure in German literature and her possible interpretations

This thesis deals with the character named Golem and its possible interpretations. The first chapter is aimed generally at artificial creations, a category Golem is often reckoned as a part of. Second chapter deals with the origin and the meaning of the word Golem. This chapter also lists down Golem's attributes and instructions for its creation. The following two chapters describe the typical concept of Golem as well as the archetype of a shadow and the motif of a double. C.G. Jung was dealing with the archetype of a shadow in detail while the issue of a double is based on the works by O. Fisher and D. Hoder. The fifth chapter is dedicated to the Prague Golem and its author Rabbi Löw. In addition to Czech legends, German ones are also included, namely the book Sippurim that served as a source of information used by many authors who had been influenced by the Golem theme. Following chapters analyse particular works of German literature. First it is the poem Die Geschichte von dem Golem by Ludwig Kalisch. Here, the theme of Golem is elaborated in a lyrical way. An analysis of A. von Armin's work named Isabella von Ägypten comes next. This work tells a story of Golem's wife who is a double of the main character Bella. Sport as a Theological Challenge

The aim of the thesis is to describe relationships between spirituality, Christianity and sport in history and present. In the first part the author underlines ritual origins of games and sports in pre-Christian cultures, especially ancient Greece and Rome. Revolutionary Christianity separated physical competition from religious ritual. In Christian author´s (Paul, Tertullian, Basil, John Chrysostom, John Cassian and John Climacus) games rating there is an obvious ambiguity They criticized an idolatric origin and connection with cults. Attributes typical for ancient athlete, self-discipline and perseverance, they remained positive. Athletes will and willingness to overcome obstacles gave some of the Fathers of the Church as an example for spiritual struggle, the term "athlete of Christ" had a strong significance in this context. The historical part contains Thomas´s Aquinas valuation of sport in the form of games. In discussion focused on the assessment of the sinful nature of games Aquinas submitted to the rule of reason. One of the key issues in contemporary theology of sport is introduced on the difference between the theological concepts of contemporary authors Rev Dr Lincoln Harvey and Rev Dr Robert Ellis. Harvey's theory, based on a systematic basis, based on the classical axioms of Christian doctrine. Sport is construed as a "liturgy of our contingency", set in the autonomous space that God lovingly gives his creatures. The consequence of this theory is the denial of the transcendent dimension of sport. Ellis´s theory is based on empirical research conducted among athletes. His attention is focused on efforts to achieve the best possible performance by referring to Irenaeus of Lyon, Maslow and others interpreted as a reflection of God's self-transcendence necessary for the creation of man. Sport according to Ellis in contemporary society fullfil some of the functions previously belonging to organized forms of religion. The final section deals with altered states of consciousness in sports and their relationship to the mystique. The author begins by describing his own experiences that are then interpreted from five points of view (philosophical, theological, phenomenological, transpersonal and skeptical). On this basis, the author formulates his own interpretation of the connection between sport and mysticism, whose findings help to deepen the above discussion and also can help with looking for a solution.

Graduted work "Cosmological Themes and Geometric Conception in islamic art" is about relationship betweewn religion and cosmological themes in philosophy opinions and their influence to fine art. Theoretic part is about signs of islamic art and give a simply look on religious, science, philosophic, generaly cultural and art influences of islamic culture of "Golden Age" to global culture. The next part is about cosmologie. Third part is about influence of cosmological themes to geometric forms in individual examples of fine art. The last part is about expresive interpretation symbols of cosmologii and geometry. Practic part have video form of own dance creative, which is expresive interpretation influenced by theme od diplom work. Pedagogic part is koncept of Art Project for second degree of Basic School (High school) , which is partly documented and reflected in practic works
